Mekong Delta er et tysk thrash metal -band som ble dannet i 1985 som en supergruppe av plateprodusenten og musikeren Ralf Hubert. Alle involverte brukte i starten pseudonym på grunn av kontraktsbetingelser overfor plateselskap i andre prosjekter.[ 1] progressiv rock og klassisk musikk .[ 2]
