Mettā

Mettā (pali) eller maitrī (sanskrit) betyr velvilje,[1] kjærlig snillhet,[2][3] friendliness,[3][4] amity,[4] good will,[5] og aktiv interesse i andre.[4] Det er den første av fire sublime tilstander (Brahmavihāras) og en av de ti pāramītas i Theravāda-skolen.
