IBM Telum (mikroprocessor)

IBM Telum er en mikroprosessorfamilie som er laget av IBM for bruk i deres IBM System z stormaskiner. Den er etterfølgeren til IBM z15. Mikroprosessoren ble annonsert på Hot Chips 2021 den 23. august 2021. Den første mikroprosessoren i denne familien er IBM z16 som ble lansert 5. april 2022.[1]

IBM Telum har innebygde kretser for kunstig intelligens.[2][3][4][5]

IBM z16 har 8 kjerner og 32 Mb hurtigminne i hver kjerne.
