Mark Lanegans diskografi omfatter seks album og en Extended play (EP) som soloartist, og mange andre utgivelser sammen med andre artister.

Etter å ha jobbet med Screaming Trees siden tidlig på 1980-tallet forlot Lanegan bandet på grunn av interne stridigheter over sine kreative retninger. Han lanserte sitt første soloalbum The Winding Sheet i 1990 på Sub Pop, der han samarbeidet med Kurt Cobain på sporet «Down in the Dark». Hans andre studioalbum, Whiskey for the Holy Ghost, ble utgitt den 12. januar 1994. Lanegan ville senere lansere Scraps at Midnight, og det var hans første album som fikk en listeplassering. Albumet nådde 191.-plass på UK Albums Chart. I 2000 gjestet Lanegan på Rated R av Queens of the Stone Age, et band som han senere ble medlem av.

I 2003 begynte han arbeide med Greg Dulli og etablerte The Gutter Twins. De ville slippe sitt debutalbum i 2008, og det nådde 117.-plass på Billboard 200; den høyeste plasseringen av alle Lanegans album. Lanegan lanserte sitt sjette album, Bubblegum, i 2004, og det ble hans første soloalbum som fikk en listeplassering i USA. Han gav ut album under navnet Mark Lanegan Band. I 2006 lanserte han Ballade av Broken Seas med Isobel Campbell, som ble nominert til en Mercury Music Prize. Det ble etterfulgt av Sunday at Devil Dirt, utgitt på den 13. mai 2008.
