USS Yorktown (CG 48) cruises the Caribbean Sea towards Colombia, South America where the shp will meet other naval units participating in the 43rd annual UNITAS exercise on 24 FEB 2002. The Aegis Guided Missile Cruiser USS Yorktown, is this year's flagship for the Caribbean phase of the exercise with embarked Task Force Commander, Rear Admiral Kevin P. Green, Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command (COMUSNAVSO). UNITAS is the largest multi-national naval exercise conducted with naval forces from the U.S., The Caribbean Sea, South and Central America.
